NSG 619: Diagnostic Health Assessment

This course emphasizes the development of diagnostic health assessment skills and recording methods used by Advance Practice Nurse. This course includes critical thinking skills necessary for the interpretations of history and physical findings and basic laboratory data including diagnostic studies to formulate differential diagnoses. Students learn to effectively and efficiently translate new scientific knowledge into clinical practice in order to improve the quality of health care, increase patient safety and improve clinical outcomes.
