Professional Formation II is the second course in a four-course sequence threading professional development throughout the curriculum. This course emphasizes the continuation of professional formation through leadership. Students will explore leadership principles, enhance communication skills, and learn how to embody the qualities of an effective leader. Students will deepen their understanding of leadership while exploring how their contributions can enhance a sense of community within their cohort, the profession, and the communities they will serve. Students will continue to demonstrate understanding of the Clinical Education Manual, including clinical education requirements and the use of the Exxat platform for compliance tracking.
